As we speak I’m getting ready for my fiance(Katie) to arrive here in Reno.  She actually found a job out here so she’ll be able to live out here with me.  What a lot of people don’t know or understand about professional sports is the sacrifice that athletes make for their family.  I shouldn’t say we even make the sacrifice because really our family is getting the bad end of the deal. Long hours with changing of time zones.  Let’s just say that our cell phones are being put to good use.  Being thousands of miles away from your family and friends I definitely wish that I could say that i’m always in a good mood after games.  It takes patience from both sides to say the least. 

Like I talked about in my last post about going to Nashville and Memphis.  It was great to be able to see my parents.  I haven’t seen my mom since before spring training!   It was nice to be able to go out to dinner with them and just enjoy their company.  I’m not sure when i’ll see them again, hopefully soon.

 I’ve been in triple A for about a month and a week now and I have to say that I’m really enjoying myself.  I absolutely love the big cities that we gone to thus far.  Seems like there’s always something going on or something to do.  I’ve ate some amazing food!  Especially in Memphis and Nashville.  Holy Barbecue!  As you can tell I love to eat.
