Best Time of Year
Hey there everybody, it’s Tucker Barnhart again. I hope you are all doing great and enjoyed reading my first entry. I’m hoping to bring more to the table in this second post, so all of you can get to know me a little better off the field.
The game of baseball can be very rigorous at times and for me it’s my golf game that gets me away from everything, and provides a sense of relief from the stresses that I go through. On the 30th of last month my Bakersfield Blaze teammate Chris Berset enoyed our first off day with a nice round of golf in Bakersfield, aka “the Bake” To say that I’m a good golfer may be a bit of a stretch, but on this day I played out of my mind, shooting a 2 over 74. It was one of those days where I could not miss, even the bad shots that I hit ended up with a good result. I thoroughly enjoy getting out on the course and if I had my druthers I’d be out there everyday.
When it comes to relaxing off the field and getting away from the game, I also love to take in an Indiana Pacers game. During the off-season I like to go to as many games as possible, but during the season I have to rely on the NBA League Pass on my computer to get the job done. Now saying I’m just a fan of the Pacers might be an understatement… I LOVE the Pacers. I’m battling it out with some guys on the team now taking a couple friendly wagers for a free dinner with the likely series between the Heat and Pacers coming up in the next week or so (please wish me luck).
